Laura has been taking needle-felted pet portrait commissions for over 15 years.
These range from miniature trophy heads, to whole animals within dioramas and domes.
Pet accessories can be included such as collars or toys and real pet hair can be incorporated.
Backgrounds for dioramas can be hand painted by Laura, or photographs or fabrics can be used.
All ideas and requests are welcome!

The Commissions Process
1. Contact me with a couple of images of the pet you would like to be made and any ideas you have about what you might like. I will discuss the options with you and give you a price and a lead time. I will do my best to accommodate gifts needed for special occasions.
2. If you would like to go ahead, I will need lots of photographs to make sure I can get all of your pets markings right, and capture their personality! I will also require a 20% deposit.
3. I will keep you informed throughout the process and ask you if I need any more photos or information. I will send progress photos and you will have the chance to give feedback or make changes at this point.
4. Once I think your piece is complete, I will send you photos for your approval. There is another chance to make small changes at this point, such as additions to the surface markings. Please note, it will be too late to make major changes such as the choice of pose.
5. Once we are both happy that your commission is complete, I will take final payment and post your piece out to you.
